Our Grandmother and Co-founding executive is 81 year old Wilma I. Buckie. She and her son formed The Orphans of AIDS to champion AIDS awareness worldwide and broker healthy change in society and hope to changing the course of AIDS for millions of people worldwide.

Bishop Cedric and Loveness Whayo
Operational Overseers, Malawi, Africa

Bishop Cedric and Loveness Whayo are our overseers for the Widows and Orphans Program. Cedric is part of our Board of Directors for The Orphans of AIDS, Africa. He is also the general overseer for Church on the Rock in Blantyre and serves Malawi, Zambia, Tanzania, South Africa, Mozambique and Swaziland.

Mr. Jerry Hanson
Treasurer / Secretary

Jerry Hanson has been a valued member of our Board of Directors since 2004. He is our South East Asia coordinator working between various orphan homes and church groups especially in the Philippines. In addition to Jerry Hanson is also the President of the Business Men’s Fellowship in Lodi, California. Jerry offers a distinct brand of compassion that augments our work of rescuing and feeding orphan children worldwide.

Dr. Wm. Thomas Bray
Communications Director

Dr. Bill Bray is the Director of Communications & Development for Hopegivers, International. Since 2001 Bill Bray has shared in our passion to provide for orphans worldwide. He is both a beloved friend and respected coworker. We are honored to partner together with Dr. Bray on several projects in China, Africa and India for the cause of orphan children worldwide.
